Who wanted:
1. Spike/Harmony
2. Spike got the chip out.
3. Could Spike have made Harmony a proper vampire?

He'd tried. He really had given it his best. He'd used chains, whips, knives, Holy water - every single thing that either Angelus, Darla, or even Drusilla in her maddest of moments have ever subjected him to. No matter what he did, the result remained the same. She would never shut her bleeding gob for a tic.

Sure, she'd stuck by him through his darkest of times. But now, the chip was out - he had to take some serious steps to redeem his big bad reputation. So, he thought he'd give her a shot at being a Big Bad Ass herself - it just wasn't happening.

Killing the Hallmark shopkeeper just because the unicorn you wanted was no longer on sale, does not make one a Big Bad. Harmony had to go. If only she hadn't been wearing the Gem of Amara the last time he'd staked her. Buggering hell, it only made her conscious of his every move.

Perhaps he shouldn't have killed Solider Boy and wounded the Slayer. Maybe he should send Harm to Peaches. Used to be friends with the Cheerleader. Peaches owed him.

"Oh, Harm? Want to go to L.A., pet?"

"Really, Blondie Bear? 'Cause I would so do some damage on Rodeo Drive."

Yes, perhaps he'd give her one more chance on the way to L.A. If by then, he couldn't torture her into a proper vampire, then he'd point her in the Poof's direction.
