Ginny had become friends with Luna during their 4th year at Hogwarts. So people just thought she was so strange and weird but if you sat with her and just listened you did start to figure out there was a very smart girl underneath all the weirdness.
She was also very cute if Ginny could just get her leave off the radish and bottle cap jewelry. Ginny had noticed the hard time Draco had been giving Luna too. Then suddenly it changed and Draco if anything looked a little lovesick when looking at Luna Lovegood of all people.
Draco would try and make a sneering remark at her and Luna would merely smile a small secretive smile at him that would send him running off with his robes flying behind him. It was like there was something between them and odder still was that no one seemed to notice except Ginny. But everyone was so involved with the Tri-Wizard Championship that little attention was paid to how Draco was reacting to Luna.
Ginny decided this needed further investigation. She kept a watch on Luna and noticed at the end of every evening meal she got up and disappeared down to the dungeons. Ginny decided that she had nothing to lose by following her and hopefully her hunch of seeing a couple of star crossed lovers would be right on the nose.
Luna kept checking behind her though so it was hard going following her. Ginny kept to the thick shadows of the hallways below ground. Till she finally saw Luna flit into what looked like a boys lavatory. Ginny stood outside for a minute trying to figure how to gain entrance into the room without alerting Luna and whoever else might be in there. She finally decided to just muffle the door with a silencing spell and slowly push the door open. She needed not worry about being seen or heard for the two blond heads, one almost painfully white blonde and the other a long tangle of dirty blond were mashed together.
Draco and Luna were caught up in their passionate embrace exchanging kisses and hands roaming over each other, it was such a sexually charged atmosphere that Ginny felt her breath catch in wonder and a bit of jealousy since she had yet to be in anyway kissed like that. She shivered in sympathy when Luna moaned as Draco pulled her shirt up and started nibbling on her neck.
Luna was not her normal dreamy self, she was a goddess personified, and she was going to have Draco at her feet. She ripped off his robes and didn't waste anytime in undoing his tie and shirt. Draco's chest was smooth and leanly muscled. Draco was busy too pulling off Luna's badly knitted jumper and stripping her down to her polka dotted bra. Draco chuckled at it and unhooked in the front so it was hanging. He palmed her bare breast and started pulling up her skirt with his other hand.
Ginny wanted nothing more than to watch but she was afraid of getting caught. She was fascinated not only by the passion between the couple but the obvious affection Draco was showing towards Luna. It amazed her that the icy cold Prince of Slytherin House would feel so towards one not only of Luna’s nature but also from a different house than his own.
Ginny slipped out the door quietly but never noticed Luna looking up at her retreating back. She turned back to Draco and started whispering in his ear.
The next morning Ginny was sitting eating her porridge when Luna sat down beside her wearing the most oddly assortment of scarfs, bracelets, and necklaces. Her hair was the usual tangle of blonde down her back.
“Luna.” Ginny said by way of greeting.
“Ginny….” Luna trailed off and smiled dreamly at her. She sat down beside her and leaned against her arm. Ginny laid her spoon down.
Luna leaned into her shoulder almost cuddling with her. “I saw you last Ginny, you should have stay for the rest.”
Ginny just turned to look at Luna with shock not so much as being seen watching but at being told she should have stayed.
“Luna..I…well it would not have been right.” Ginny stammered.
"Ginny, silly. We would be wonderful together, we would be wonderful with Draco. He needs it so, the poor boy, his soul needs the likes of us. We can heal him."
"I don't know if I could Luna."
"Well, Ginny, next time come with me to our spot. You never know what might happen." Luna brushed a quick kiss across Ginny's lips and drifted off. Ginny grinned and knew she would most definitely go with Luna to meet up with Draco, at least once. What did she have to lose?
