Summary: -by PassionFish - This is one of those fictions that you can read over and over and over and never tire of! Spike is brilliantly written; just the right side of bitey and possessive without any of that (slightly irritating) S7 crap! The plot is great, and manages to involve all of the major characters perfectly. Set during Buffy's time in LA (pre-S3), the fiction starts with Buffy in a furious fight outside her workplace before being 'saved' by a mysterious stranger with bite! Spike has been cursed with a life-line tied to our favourite blonde Slayer, and must battle against all to save her, and himself. Love, laughter and hardship are rife in this fiction, but always with an underlying tenderness which is absorbing to say the least. It also deals very thoroughly with the idea of a Vampire Claim, something that I always love reading about!

Another wonderful thing about how this fiction has been written is the italics at the beginning of each chapter pertaining to the gang's, and Spuffy's, life after all the evil plot is over. Not only is it hilarious at times, but it gives the readers something to hope for - something all Spuffy lovers need, especially since the fiction is currently a (very, very involved) WIP.
